Back Light Cluster on the Steering Wheel staying on

Mine are on and won't go off.

They were on when I went to the car this morning and haven't turned off since. Have I accidentally turned on a setting or is this a fault?
 
Mine does this too sometimes, im assuming its a module not shutting down. its not flattening the 12v battery because my dash cam doesn't shut down so I wouldn't be too concerned, possibly just a glitch in the software.
 
They did eventually go off. Another mystery. I was getting the low 12v battery warning though.
