I have a problem, my 03 has been charging fine for ages, then last night, it didnt charge. I have an Ohme ePod. The app says "Please plug in the charging gun", i tried everything - switched power off to the ePod, disconnected, reconnected, drove for a bit, tried again, its still not recognising the gun being connected. I tried setting the Omhe app to max charging and still nothing, the locking pin on the car goes in and out rapidly for a bit then stops and still not showing as connected.

To make sure its not the ePod or cable, I dug the cable out that plugs into a normal plug socked, the lights on the unit showed it charging but the app still says - "Please plug in the charging gun", then I noticed, that the car was actually charging. I logged out of the app and went back in - again "Please plug in the charging gun". I disconnected the cable and connected again to my ePod but it wouldnt charge. I then pulled the cable out slightly -the locking pin WAS in place so it just moved half a mm, and the car started charging - but the app still says "Please plug in the charging gun".

Before I report it to the deaelership (which is a two hour round trip away) Has anyone experienced anything similar??

I have noted that the app with Revive chargers doesn't report correctly that the charging gun is connected. The app says to plug in the charging gun, and there isn't the animation.

However the car dashboard does show it charging (green plug) and the app bizarrely shows the time to charge to 100%. If it wasn't charging then the time would be blank.

So I would ignore the app and check with the dashboard in the car to see if it is charging or not, before heading to the dealer.

Sounds spookily similar then - thanks for this.
