Should anyone intend to use Le Shuttle there a couple of points of interest: 1) the non-Tesla chargers on the UK side are out of use. They have been blocked off by a temporary road scheme. 2) There are new DC chargers in the French terminal provided by Energie. The instructions on the chargers tell you that you can use a contactless bank card. You cannot, either set up an Energie account or use an RFID card to get charging (mine came from Chargemap). The alternative is to charge at Shell Channel Gateway Services on junction11, M20. There are four (soon to be six) Ionity chargers but they do not take contactless cards. You need the Ionity app and an account with that company.

According to the Tesla app you should be able to use the Tesla chargers. They seem to have expanded the network recently for non-Tesla EVs.

Thanks for that info. I believe you have to have the Tesla app and an account to use the chargers. I wasn’t sure if it was possible, because of the way the charging software is set up, to charge an ORA on a Tesla charger.

Tesla's latest charger comes with contactless card payment and a longer 3m charging cable for ease of use; V3 chargers rely on payment via the Tesla app.

I have used the Tesla chargers with my Funky Cat in Newmarket, Frankley Services, and Reading Services (using the Tesla app, but did note that I could have used contactless.

I did have issues with the V3 Tesla chargers at Merry Hill though.
