When will we get Apple CarPlay on the ORA CAT?

I received android auto and apple carplay on Friday the 9th of February from my dealer in Sweden as a "beta-version". It works just fine and also came with other software fixes and tweaks.

that’s sounds nice. Do you want to share what dealer? My dealer just said there is nothing new yet.

RAmotor in Uppsala. I just forwarded the email I got from ORA Sweden when I complained about not having android auto and apple carplay where they stated that I could get the latest version installed.
 
If you're in Ireland....

Try this link and scroll down to the very bottom of the page. Both small and long range Ora 03s have Apple Car Play and Android Auto ticked. Not 'coming soon'. But here now. So if they can do it.... (they drive on the same side of the road as us. Cars look idential. Specs look the same. Except.....

I asked ORA UK, on Instagram, about progress towards installing Apple CarPlay etc and received the same reply that I received about a month ago and which I summarised on the forum. We are still testing etc!
 
Dealer in NZ got Beta, so got the first upgrade in NZ and testing to give beta feedback. This is wireless android auto. Zero issues so far, looks promising

Thanks. Another reason (if a reason is needed) to go to NZ. The testing and installation of CarPlay etc seems to be dealt with on a country by country basis and ORA NZ seems to have got its act together.

Yeah the person I spoke to seemed to think they could be close to releasing a public wide version possibly this month, so fingers crossed for other countries. Can say I have not had one bug or issue so far, seems really stable
 
If it wasn’t anywhere near a Beta release then it should have been kept at the Alpha stage. Beta usually means it almost ready but with a few niggles to sort. The Beta testing in the UK was initiated late November or early December on ORA 03’s, now here we are in March and if anyone mentions soon to me again, well ……….
 
Tomorrow this carlinkkit wireless Android / CarPlay adapter drops to £20… Has anyone tried any of these or similar with the ORA 03? I may just buy and test as don’t want to wait anymore for native update.

This is so weird... The Ora 03 sold in Brazil since late november already has wireless car play and android auto, and it just works. What we don't have is embedded offline maps, or internet access. There is no app for the car.
 
Apple Car Play and Android Auto for the UK are in final beta testing. It won't be long; a little more patience is required!
 
I’m at the Everything electric show, just spoke to Ora directly and they have one here that’s had CarPlay enabled. They are literally live testing so I do believe them it is incoming soon now.

I got my Ora 03 yesterday and have no Apple Carplay, even though the website I bought it from had it advertised as a feature. Any updates?
 
i'm being fed the same BS from my dealership although to be fair its not them its GWM
